Code of Conduct for Students:
This Code of Conduct shall apply to all kinds of conduct of students that occurs within the College premises including those during events/activities sponsored by the College and/or functions hosted by other recognized student organizations together with any off-campus conduct (of students) that has or may have an adverse impact on the interests and/or the reputation of the College.
- Every student MUST carry her/his Identity Card while on the College
- Every student should maintain at least 75% attendance in the Classroom Lectures of every subject. Else, s/he shall be debarred from appearing in the University Examination.
- Every student is required to follow the Routine/ Timetable and strictly abide by it. Those arriving late for scheduled classes shall not be allowed to enter the classroom.
- Every student shall remain answerable to the College authority for her/his activities and conduct on and off the College campus.
- Every student is expected to maintain peace, discipline, order, and cleanliness on the College campus.
- All acts of theft (actual or attempted) of the property of the College, or that of a member of the College Staff/ Community is a punishable offence.
- Any student who intentionally damages the property of the College, or that of a member of the College Staff/ Community, or any other personal or public property on or off campus shall face strict disciplinary action from the College authority.
- Students MUST handle all College properties with care. Any damage to the furniture or any other materials may lead to penalty/ fine.
- The use of mobile phones is strictly prohibited during class
- Any act that obstructs teaching or hampers the administrative proceedings of the College in any way or disturbs the general peace and order in the campus is strictly prohibited.
- Smoking cigarettes/ biri, chewing paan/ tobacco products (gutka, paan masala ) and the consumption of all intoxicating substances are strictly prohibited.
- Playing cards and loitering are strictly prohibited inside the college campus and shall invite severe punishment/disciplinary action.
- The College has a Zero Tolerance Policy on Ragging. Ragging is a punishable offence and will invite severe punishment/ strong disciplinary action.
- The College has a Zero Tolerance Policy on Sexual Harassment. It is a punishable offence and will lead to severe punishment/ strong disciplinary action.
- Any act of discrimination on the basis of gender identity, caste, race, religion, religious beliefs, language, physical or mental disability, marital or familial status, socio- economic status is strictly prohibited and will invite severe punishment/ strong disciplinary action.
- Students are not allowed to circulate any pamphlets, notices etc. – whether in printed form or as soft copies – within the College campus without the permission of the Principal/ Teacher-in-Charge.
- Spreading rumors, disseminating fake notices and circulars shall invite strong disciplinary action against the offender/s.
Every student is required to check the College Notice Board and the official website of the College on a regular basis for important announcements/ notifications.
Code of Conduct for Teaching Staffs:
- Every teacher of the institution should be aware of her/his assigned duties and should abide by the orders of the Head of the Institution and the prevailing rules & regulations.
- Every teacher of the institution must attend their scheduled classes on time in accordance with the class routine of the concerned course/ discipline.
- Every teacher must sign on the daily attendance register everyday and ensure that s/he is present in the institution during regular working hours as prescribed by the prevailing rules and
- Everyteachershouldbepolitewithandkindtocoworkers,students,guardians,andstaffof the institution
- Every teacher should be conscientious and empathetic and should be proactive in sharing the workload with her/his colleagues, as and when the need arises.
- Every teacher must maintain a record of her/his academic activities and submit the annual Appraisal Report to the Head of the Institution at the end of each academic session.
- Every teacher should be proactive in helping slow learners through special/remedial
- Every teacher should be attentive to students’
- Every teacher of the institution should exercise due diligence and ensure that order and decorum is maintained in the campus.
Code of Conduct for Non-Teaching Staffs:
- All Non-Teaching staff of the institution should be aware of her/his assigned duties and should abide by the orders of the Head of the Institution and the prevailing rules & regulations.
- All Non-Teaching staff of the institution must be punctual and sign on the daily attendance register. They should abide by their assigned time of duty.
- AllNon-Teachingstaffoftheinstitutionshouldattendtothestudents’grievances
- All Non-Teaching staff of the institution should be cooperative and kind to students, teachers, and visitors.
- All Non-Teaching staff of the institution must abide by the institutional policy of equal opportunity and shall not discriminate between students on any ground whatsoever.
- All Non-Teaching staff of the institution should be flexible and cooperative in matters pertaining to administrative work and institutional duties as prescribed by prevailing rules and regulations and/or as directed by the Head of the Institution.
- All Non-Teaching staff of the institution should exercise due diligence and ensure that orderand decorum is maintained in the campus.
