Eligibility Criteria
Online Applications are invited from the candidates of all recognised Board / Council qualifying H.S. or equivalent (10+2) examination for admission into the listed Under Graduate Courses for Admission. A candidate may be admitted to the first year of three year B.A. / B. Sc. / B. Com (Honours & General) courses of studies on passing H.S. (10+2) examination conducted by West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education or an equivalent examination conducted by other State Board / Council fulfilment of the conditions mentioned below: Please see the list of Board or Council recognised by our University before online application. Only the State & National Level Board in Regular Mode will be allowed to take admission in Hons. courses. No candidate shall be allowed for admission after a lapse of more than 2 years from the year of passing (excluding the current year) the previous qualifying examination or discontinuation of recognized regular courses of study after passing the previous qualifying examination. Candidates qualifying in(10+2) Exam with English as a subject of the West Bengal State Council for Vocational Education & Training are eligible to apply for the General Course Only.
Merit List Logic
For Honours Course will be prepared on the basis of Aggregate of Best Five Subject including ENGLISH excluding Environmental Studies plus (+) Merit Subject divided with 6. For General Course it will be prepared on the basis of Aggregate of Best Five Subject including ENGLISH excluding Environmental Studies
