The Department of English  is one of the most accomplished of all departments that the college boasts of. Apart from rigorous academic training we keep in mind the true idea of education, therefore we strive to build the personalities of the students. Apart from social skills and we lay special emphasis on communication skills especially spoken English as it has emerged as a vital requirement  for today’s career seeking generation. We are strict about our class timings and completion of syllabus. Besides we conduct Seminars, workshops, quiz , debate and cultural programs- including Departmental Fresher’s, Reunion and Farewell. The most interesting activities that the students love are The Departmental Exhibition and Annual Field trips or Excursion that the department hosts.
